Scheme of Examination 0f TGT PGT:

1)Applications are invited Online from qualified candidates through the proforma application to be made available on Board’s WEBSITE (www.treirb.telangana.gov.in) to the post of Trained Graduate Teachers(TGT) and Post Graduate Teacher(PGT) in Residential Educational Institutions Societies

Important Dates For TGT & PGT Exams:
i. Submission of ONLINE applications starts from Dt:09.07.2018
ii. Last date for submission of ONLINE applications Dt: 08.08.2018.
iii. Examination schedule would be displayed in the Board Website.
iv. Hall Tickets can be downloaded 07 days before commencement of Examination.
v. All the question papers (Paper-I, II & III) except Languages will be supplied in English version only (Paper-I is common for all subjects).

2) Paper-I, II & III are Objective type. The Board reserves the right to conduct the Examinations in OFFLINE OMR mode.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Candidates are requested to keep the following documents ready while applying online.
i. Aadhar number
ii. Educational Qualifications details i.e., SSC, INTERMEDIATE, DEGREE, POST GRADUATION etc. and their Roll numbers, Year of passing etc.
iii. Community/ Caste Certificate obtained from Mee Seva/ E Seva i.e., Enrollment number and date of issue etc.
 iv. Other relevant certificates.

PRESCRIBED QUALIFICATIONS For TGT:
 Applicants must possess the qualifications from a recognized University/ Institution as detailed below or equivalent thereto, as specified in the relevant Bye Laws/ Service Regulations, indented by the Residential Educational Institutions Societies as on the Date of Notification.

Academic Qualifications: 
i) B.A/B.Sc/B.Com with at least 50% of marks from a University recognized by the UGC. (In case of SC / ST /BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) AND Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course with the subject concerned as a methodology subject from any institution recognized by the NCTE.
OR 
ii) 4 years B.A.B.Ed / B.Sc.B.Ed, with atleast 50% marks with the subject concerned as a Methodology from any institution recognized by the NCTE. (In case of SC / ST /BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%)
OR 
iii) Graduation with Language concerned as one of the Optional subjects
(OR) 
Bachelor of Oriental Language (or its equivalent)
(OR)
Graduation in Literature
(OR) 
Post Graduation in Language concerned from a University recognized by the UGC with at least 50% AND 
Language Pandit Training Certificate / B.Ed. with Language concerned as one of the Methodologies from any Institution recognized by NCTE, in respect of Language Teachers. (In case of SC / ST /BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) AND Pass in Paper II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET)/Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET)
Note: 20% of weightage will be given to TET PaperII score and 80% weightage to the written test conducted by TREI-RB. In case of APTET, scores obtained before the appointed day i.e, 02-06-2014 shall only be considered.

DETAILED QUALIFICATIONS FOR TRAINED GRADUATE TEACHERS 
1. Academic degree of Universities recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC).
2. Teacher Education courses recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

3. The Candidates who have obtained Degrees through Open Universities and Deemed Universities/Distance Education mode are required to have recognition by the University Grants Commission, Distance Education Council (DEC), All India Council for Technical Education and with jurisdiction to operate such courses in the State of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh as case may be. Unless such Degrees have been recognized by the relevant Statutory Authority, they will not be accepted for purpose of Educational Qualification. The onus of proof of recognition by the relevant Statutory Authority that their Degrees/ Universities have been recognized rests with the candidate.

4. Teacher Eligibility Test (TET): The candidates should have passed paper-II of State TET / Paper-II of CTET. Candidates applying with CTET, Paper-II qualification should have opted with Telugu/Urdu/Hindi as one of the languages in CTET.

PRESCRIBED QUALIFICATIONS For PGT: 
Applicants must possess the qualifications from a recognized University/ Institution as detailed below or equivalent thereto, as specified in the relevant Bye Laws/ Service Regulations, indented by the Residential Educational Institutions Societies as on the Date of Notification.

A. Academic Qualifications 
i) A Post Graduate Degree in the subject concerned (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a University recognized by the UGC.
In case of SC / ST /BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%
AND 
ii) Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or B.A.,B.Ed / B.Sc.,B.Ed from any institution recognized by NCTE with the subject concerned as a Methodology subject.

AGE For TGT & PGT:
 Minimum 18 years & Maximum 44* years. The age is reckoned as on 01/07/2018 (Rule- 12(1) (a) (v) of State and Subordinate Service Rules).

(a) FEE: (Remittance of Fee) 
Each applicant must pay Rs.1200/- (Rupees Twelve Hundred Only) towards Application Processing Fee and Examination Fee. However, local applicants of Telangana State belonging to SC, ST, BC and PH have to pay Rs.600/- (Rupees Six Hundred Only) each towards application processing fee and examination fee.
Note: BCs, SCs and STs belonging to other States are not entitled for any fee concession and they are not entitled for any kind of reservation.

CENTERS FOR THE WRITTEN EXAMINATION of TGT & PGT: 
1) The examinations will be held at HYDERABAD (including HMDA Jurisdiction) only or all erstwhile District head quarters. However, the Board reserves the right to either increase or decrease the number of Centers.
2) However, the Board reserves the right to abolish / create new centre or centers for administrative reasons. Request for change of the centre will not be entertained.
