NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by article 309 of the Constitution of India read with sub sections (3) and (4) of section 169, sub-sections (3) and (4) of section 195 and section 243 of the Telangana Panchayat Raj Act, 1994 (Act No.13 of 1994) and section 78 and section 99 of the Telangana Education Act, 1982 (Act No. 1 of 1982), read with sub-section (1) of section 23 of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009 (Central Act No.35 of 2009) and the National Council for Teacher Education (Determination of Minimum Qualifications for Persons to be Recruited as Education Teachers and Physical Education Teachers in Pre-Primary, Primary, Upper Primary, Secondary, Senior Secondary or Intermediate Schools or Colleges) Regulations, 2014 dt.12.11.2014, and in supersession of the Rules issued in G.Os 1 & 2 read above, the Governor of Telangana hereby makes the following Rules for direct recruitment to the posts of Teachers in the Government and Local Body Schools of Telangana. 

RULES

1. Short Title and Application
(1) These rules may be called the Telangana State Direct Recruitment for the posts of Teachers Rules, 2017.
(2) These rules shall apply to all categories of teacher posts in Government Schools, Zilla Praja Parishad Schools and Mandal Praja Parishad Schools.

2. DEFINITIONS:
In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires:-
(1) "Appointing Authority" means, the District Educational Officer of the district concerned in respect of the posts of teachers in Government Schools, Mandal Praja Parishad Schools and Zilla Praja Parishad Schools.
(2) “Chief Executive Officer” means the Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Praja Parishad appointed under section 186 of the Telangana Panchayat Raj Act, 1994.
(3) “Collector” means an officer in-charge of a Revenue District;
(4) “Director of School Education” means the Officer in-charge of General Education in the State which includes Pre-Primary, Primary, Upper Primary, Secondary Schools in the State;
(5) “District” means a Revenue District as formed/reorganised by the State of
Telangana w.e.f 11.10.2016.

(6) “District Educational officer” means the Officer in-charge of General Education which includes Pre-primary, Primary, Upper Primary, Secondary Schools in the District;
(7) “Government” means the State Government of Telangana;
(8) “Mandal Praja Parishad” means a Mandal Praja Parishad constituted under section 148 of the Telangana Panchayat Raj Act, 1994;
(9) “Mandal Praja Parishad Development Officer” means the officer appointed by that designation under section 168 of the Telangana Panchayat Raj Act, 1994;
(10) “Medium of Instruction” means the language through which subjects other than languages are taught;
(11) “NCTE” means National Council for Teacher Education constituted under the National Council for Teacher Education Act, 1993;
(12) “School” means a Primary School or an Upper Primary School or a High School;
(13) “TSPSC” means the Telangana State Public Service Commission constituted by the Government of Telangana;
(14) “Teacher Eligibility Test” means the Eligibility Test conducted by the appropriate Government as per the NCTE guidelines Dt.11.02.2011 for conducting Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) issued under the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act (RTE), 2009 read with NCTE Notification Dt.23.08.2010 and amendments from time to time laying down the minimum qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher;
(15) “UGC” means University Grants Commission constituted under the UGC Act, 1956;
(16) “Zilla Praja Parishad” means a Zilla Praja Parishad constituted under the provisions of the Telangana Panchayat Raj Act, 1994.

3. METHOD OF RECRUITMENT:
The Recruitment shall be through a selection process as decided by the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC). Out of the Total Marks of Teacher Recruitment Test, 20% weightage shall be for Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) score for all the posts, except for School Assistant (Physical Education) and Physical Education Teacher. For the purpose of Selection of Teachers under these Rules, scores obtained in Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) / Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with the qualifying marks as given below shall only be considered:

Note: The APTET scores obtained before the appointed day of 02.06.2014 shall only be considered.
Selection of candidates shall be on the basis of combined marks secured in the Main Examination to be conducted by the TSPSC (80%) and TET (20%) in all categories of posts except SA (Physical Education) and PET for which selection shall be 100% based on the Main Examination conducted by TSPSC only.

4. QUALIFICATIONS – POST WISE:
I. School Assistants:-

A. School Assistant (Mathematics):-
i. Must possess a Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in Mathematics (or its allied subjects as given in the Annexure to this G.O.) from a University recognised by UGC with 50% marks in either Graduation or Post Graduation (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) and Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course with Mathematics as a Methodology subject from any institution recognised by NCTE.

OR

ii. Must possess a 4-year B.A.B.Ed. / B.Sc.B.Ed. Integrated degree, with atleast 50% marks (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) with the Mathematics as a Methodology from any institution recognised by NCTE.

AND

Pass in Paper II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) / Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with Mathematics and Science as Optional.

B. School Assistants (Physical Science):-
i. Must possess a Graduate’s Degree with any two of the following subjects as optionals i.e. Physics (or its allied subjects as given in the Annexure to this G.O.) and Chemistry (or its allied subjects as given in the Annexure to this G.O.) from a University recognised by UGC with 50% marks in either Graduation or Post Graduation (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) and Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course with Physical Science / Physics / Chemistry / Science as a Methodology subject from any institution recognised by NCTE.(Candidates who study one of the two optionals at Graduation and the other at Post Graduation with the required percentage are also eligible for the post)

OR

ii. Must possess a 4-year B.A.B.Ed. / B.Sc.B.Ed. Integrated degree with at least 50% marks (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) with the Physical Science / Physics / Chemistry / Science as a Methodology from any institution recognised by NCTE.

AND

Pass in Paper II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) / Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with Mathematics and Science as Optional.

C. School Assistants (Biological Science):-
i. Must possess a Graduate’s Degree with any two of the following subjects as optionals i.e. Botany (or its allied subjects as given in the Annexure to this G.O.) and Zoology (or its allied subjects as given in the Annexure to this G.O.)) from a University recognised by UGC with 50% marks in either Graduation or Post Graduation (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) and Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course with Biological Science / Natural Sciences / Science / Botany / Zoology as a Methodology subject from any institution recognised by NCTE. (Candidates who study one of the two optionals at Graduation and the other at Post Graduation with the required percentage are also eligible for the post)

OR

ii. Must possess a 4-year B.A.B.Ed. / B.Sc.B.Ed. Integrated degree with at least 50% marks (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) with the Biological Science / Natural Sciences / Science / Botany / Zoology as a Methodology from any institution recognised by NCTE.

AND

Pass in Paper II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) / Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with Mathematics and Science as Optional.

D. School Assistants (Social Studies):-
i. Must possess a Graduate’s Degree with any two of the following subjects as optionals i.e. History (or its allied subjects as given in the Annexure to this G.O.) / Economics (or its allied subjects as given in the Annexure to this G.O.) / Geography (or its allied subjects as given in the Annexure to this G.O.) / Political Science or Politics (or its allied subjects as given in the Annexure to this G.O.) / Public Administration (or its allied subjects as given in the Annexure to this G.O.) / Sociology (or its allied subjects as given in the Annexure to this G.O.) / Psychology (or its allied subjects as given in the Annexure to this G.O.) / Philosophy / Commerce (or its allied subjects as given in the Annexure to this G.O.) / as optionals from a University recognised by UGC with 50% marks in either Graduation or Post Graduation (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) and Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course with Social Studies / Social Sciences / Geography / History / Politics / Political Science / Economics as a Methodology subject from any institution recognised by NCTE. (Candidates who study one of the two optionals at Graduation and the other at Post Graduation with the required percentage are also eligible for the
post)

OR

ii. Must possess a 4-year B.A.B.Ed. / B.Sc.B.Ed. Integrated degree with at least 50% marks (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) with the Social Studies / Social Sciences / Geography / History / Politics / Political Science / Economics as a Methodology from any institution recognised by NCTE.

AND

Pass in Paper II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) / Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with Social Studies as Optional.

E. School Assistant (English) :-
i. Must possess Graduation with English as one of the Optional / Graduation in Literature in English / Post Graduation Degree in English from a University recognised by UGC with 50% (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) and Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course with English as a Methodology subject from any institution recognised by NCTE.
OR

ii. Must possess 4-year B.A.B.Ed. / B.Sc.B.Ed. Integrated degree with at least 50% marks (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently Abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) with English as a Methodology from any institution recognised by NCTE.
AND

Pass in Paper II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) / Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with
i. Mathematics and Science or ii. Social Studies as Optional.

F. School Assistant (Telugu) :-
i. Must possess Graduation with Telugu as one of the Optional / Graduation in Literature in Telugu / Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Language (BOL) in Telugu / Post Graduation Degree in Telugu from a University recognised by UGC with 50% (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the
minimum marks shall be 45%) and Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course with Telugu as a Methodology subject or Language Pandit Training in Telugu from any institution recognised by NCTE.
OR

ii. Must possess 4-year B.A.B.Ed. / B.Sc.B.Ed. Integrated degree with at least 50% marks (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) with Telugu as a Methodology from any institution recognised by NCTE.

AND

Pass in Paper II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) / Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with
i. Mathematics and Science or ii. Social Studies as Optional.

G. School Assistant (Hindi) :-
i. Must possess Graduation with Hindi as one of the Optional / Graduation in Literature in Hindi / Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Language (BOL) in Hindi / Post Graduation Degree in Hindi from a University recognised by UGC with 50% (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) and Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course with Hindi as a Methodology subject or Language Pandit Training in Hindi or Hindi Shikshan Parangat from any institution recognised by NCTE.

OR

ii. Must possess 4-year B.A.B.Ed. / B.Sc.B.Ed. Integrated degree with at least 50% marks (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) with Hindi as a Methodology from any institution recognised by NCTE.

AND

Pass in Paper II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) / Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with
i. Mathematics and Science or ii. Social Studies as Optional.

H. School Assistant (Urdu) :-
i. Must possess Graduation with Urdu as one of the Optional / Graduation in Literature in Urdu / Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Language (BOL) in Urdu / Post Graduation Degree in Urdu from a University recognised by UGC with 50% (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimummarks shall be 45%) and Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course with Urdu as a Methodology subject or Language Pandit Training in Urdu from any institution recognised by NCTE.
OR

ii. Must possess 4-year B.A.B.Ed. / B.Sc.B.Ed. Integrated degree with at least 50% marks (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) with Urdu as a Methodology from any institution recognised by NCTE.

AND

Pass in Paper II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) / Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with
i. Mathematics and Science or ii. Social Studies as Optional.

I. School Assistant (Kannada) :-
i. Must possess Graduation with Kannada as one of the Optional / Graduationin Literature in Kannada / Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Language (BOL) in Kannada / Post Graduation Degree in Kannada from a University recognised by UGC with 50% (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates,the minimum marks shall be 45%) and Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course with Kannada as a Methodology subject or Language Pandit Training in Kannada from any institution recognised by NCTE.

OR

ii. Must possess 4-year B.A.B.Ed. / B.Sc.B.Ed. Integrated degree with at least 50% marks (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, theminimum marks shall be 45%) with Kannada as a Methodology from any institution recognised by NCTE.

AND

Pass in Paper II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) / Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with
i. Mathematics and Science or ii. Social Studies as Optional.

J. School Assistant (Tamil) :-
i. Must possess Graduation with Tamil as one of the Optional / Graduation in Literature in Tamil / Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Language (BOL) in Tamil / Post Graduation Degree in Tamil from a University recognised by UGC with 50% (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) and Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course with Tamil as a Methodology subject or Language Pandit Training in Tamil fromany institution recognised by NCTE.
OR

ii. Must possess 4-year B.A.B.Ed. / B.Sc.B.Ed. Integrated degree with at least 50% marks (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) with Tamil as a Methodology from any institution recognised by NCTE.

AND

Pass in Paper II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) / Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with
i. Mathematics and Science or ii. Social Studies as Optional.

K. School Assistant (Marathi)
i. Must possess Graduation with Marathi as one of the Optional / Graduation in Literature in Marathi / Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Language (BOL) in Marathi / Post Graduation Degree in Marathi from a University recognised by UGC with 50% (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) and Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course with Marathi as a Methodology subject or Language Pandit Training in Marathi from any institution recognised by NCTE.

OR

ii. Must possess 4-year B.A.B.Ed. / B.Sc.B.Ed. Integrated degree with at least 50% marks (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) with Marathi as a Methodology from any institution recognised by NCTE.

AND

Pass in Paper II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) / Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with
i. Mathematics and Science or ii. Social Studies as Optional.

L. School Assistant (Sanskrit) :-
i. Must possess Graduation with Sanskrit as one of the Optional / Graduation in Literature in Sanskrit / Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Language (BOL) in Sanskrit / Post Graduation Degree in Sanskrit from a University recognised by UGC with 50% (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) and Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course with Sanskrit as a Methodology subject or Language Pandit Training in Sanskrit from any institution recognised by NCTE.

OR

ii. Must possess 4-year B.A.B.Ed. / B.Sc.B.Ed. Integrated degree with at least 50% marks (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) with Sanskrit as a Methodology from any institution recognised by NCTE.

AND

Pass in Paper II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) / Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with
i. Mathematics and Science or ii. Social Studies as Optional.

M. School Assistant (Physical Education) :-
i. Must possess a Bachelor’s degree with Physical Education as an elective from a University recognised by UGC with at least 50% marks (In case of SC / ST / BC , the minimum marks shall be 45%)
OR

ii. Must possess Graduation in Physical Education with 40% marks (In case of SC / ST / BC, the minimum marks shall be 35%) or Graduation in Physical Education i.e.. B.P.Ed. course of three years duration.
OR

iii. Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks.

AND

Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) of at least one year duration from any institution recognised by NCTE.

II. Secondary Grade Teacher :-
i. Must Possess Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) as recognised by the Board of Intermediate, Telangana with at least 50% Marks (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) and Pass in 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education.
OR

ii. Must Possess Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) as recognised by the Board of Intermediate, Telangana with at least 45% Marks (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 40%) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and
Procedure) Regulations, 2002 (i.e those who are admitted into D.El.Ed. up to the year 2007)and Pass in 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education.
AND

Pass in Paper I of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) / Central Teacher Eligibility Test. (CTET)

III. Language Pandits:

A. Language Pandit (Telugu) :-
i. Must possess Graduation with Telugu as one of the Optional / Graduation in Literature in Telugu / Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Language (BOL) in Telugu / Post Graduation Degree in Telugu from a University recognised by UGC with 50% (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the
minimum marks shall be 45%) and Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course with Telugu as a Methodology subject or Language Pandit Training in Telugu from any institution recognised by NCTE.
OR

iii. Must possess 4-year B.A.B.Ed. / B.Sc.B.Ed. Integrated degree with at least 50% marks (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) with Telugu as a Methodology from any institution recognised by NCTE.

AND

Pass in Paper II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) / Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with
i. Mathematics and Science or ii. Social Studies as Optional.

B. Language Pandit (Hindi) :-
i. Must possess Graduation with Hindi as one of the Optional / Graduation in Literature in Hindi / Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Language (BOL) in Hindi / Post Graduation Degree in Hindi from a University recognised by UGC with 50% (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) and Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course with Hindi as a Methodology subject or Language Pandit Training in Hindi or Hindi Shikshan Parangat from any institution recognised by NCTE.

OR

ii. Must possess 4-year B.A.B.Ed. / B.Sc.B.Ed. Integrated degree with at least 50% marks (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) with Hindi as a Methodology from any institution recognised by NCTE.

AND

Pass in Paper II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) / Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with
i. Mathematics and Science or ii. Social Studies as Optional.

C. Language Pandit (Urdu) :-
i. Must possess Graduation with Urdu as one of the Optional / Graduation in Literature in Urdu / Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Language (BOL) in Urdu / Post Graduation Degree in Urdu from a University recognised by UGC with 50% (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) and Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course with Urdu as a Methodology subject or Language Pandit Training in Urdu from ]any institution recognised by NCTE.
OR

ii. Must possess 4-year B.A.B.Ed. / B.Sc.B.Ed. Integrated degree with at least 50% marks (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) with Urdu as a Methodology from any institution recognised by NCTE.

AND

Pass in Paper II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) / Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with
i. Mathematics and Science or ii. Social Studies as Optional.

D. Language Pandit (Kannada) :-
i. Must possess Graduation with Kannada as one of the Optional / Graduation in Literature in Kannada / Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Language (BOL) in Kannada / Post Graduation Degree in Kannada from a University recognised by UGC with 50% (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) and Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)
course with Kannada as a Methodology subject or Language Pandit Training in Urdu from any institution recognised by NCTE.

OR

ii. Must possess 4-year B.A.B.Ed. / B.Sc.B.Ed. Integrated degree with at least 50% marks (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) with Kannada as a Methodology from any institution recognised by NCTE.

AND

Pass in Paper II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) / Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with
i. Mathematics and Science or ii. Social Studies as Optional.

E. Language Pandit (Marathi)
i. Must possess Graduation with Marathi as one of the Optional / Graduation in Literature in Marathi / Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Language (BOL) in Marathi / Post Graduation Degree in Marathi from a University recognised by UGC with 50% (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) and Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course with Marathi as a Methodology subject or Language Pandit Training in Marathi from any institution recognised by NCTE.

OR

ii. Must possess 4-year B.A.B.Ed. / B.Sc.B.Ed. Integrated degree with at least 50% marks (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) with Marathi as a Methodology from any institution recognised by NCTE.

AND

Pass in Paper II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra PradeshTeacher Eligibility Test (APTET) / Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with
i. Mathematics and Science or ii. Social Studies as Optional.

F. Language Pandit (Tamil) :-
i. Must possess Graduation with Tamil as one of the Optional / Graduation inLiterature in Tamil / Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Language (BOL) in Tamil / Post Graduation Degree in Tamil from a University recognised by UGC with 50% (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) and Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course with Tamil as a Methodology subject or Language Pandit Training in Tamil from any institution recognised by NCTE.
OR

ii. Must possess 4-year B.A.B.Ed. / B.Sc.B.Ed. Integrated degree with at least 50% marks (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) with Tamil as a Methodology from any institution recognised by NCTE.

AND

Pass in Paper II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) / Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with
i. Mathematics and Science or ii. Social Studies as Optional.

G. Language Pandit (Sanskrit) :-
i. Must possess Graduation with Sanskrit as one of the Optional / Graduation in Literature in Sanskrit / Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Language (BOL) in Sanskrit / Post Graduation Degree in Sanskrit from a University recognised by UGC with 50% (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) and Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course with Sanskrit as a Methodology subject or Language Pandit Training in Sanskrit from any institution recognised by NCTE.

OR

ii. Must possess 4-year B.A.B.Ed. / B.Sc.B.Ed. Integrated degree with at least 50% marks (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) with Sanskrit as a Methodology from any institution recognised by NCTE.

AND

Pass in Paper II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) / Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with
i. Mathematics and Science or ii. Social Studies as Optional.

IV. Physical Education Teacher :-
1. Must possess Intermediate (or its equivalent) recognised by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana with minimum 50% marks.

And

A Certificate / Under Graduate Diploma in Physical Education / Diploma in Physical Education from an institution recognised by the NCTE.

OR
2. Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree.
And

Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) of at least one year duration from any
institution recognised by NCTE.

V. Language / Medium of Study Qualifications for Non-language subjects: The candidates who have (i) passed either SSC (or its equivalent) Examination or Intermediate (or its equivalent) or Degree Examination in the medium of instruction concerned or (ii) have studied the Language concerned as First Language in SSC (or its equivalent) or as Part I in Intermediate (or its equivalent) or as Second Language in Intermediate (or its equivalent) or as a Subject in Degree, are eligible for the posts of SA (Mathematics, Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences, Social Studies & Physical Education), SGT and PET in the concerned medium school. The Medium of the TRT Question Paper shall be the same as the Medium of the Post opted for.

(5) AGENCY FOR CONDUCTING THE TEACHER RECRUITMENT TEST:
The Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) shall be conducted by the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) as per the Orders issued by the State Government in G.O. No.19, School Education (General) Department, dt. 18.05.2016 and other orders issued from time to time.

(6) NOTIFICATION OF VACANCIES:
The TSPSC shall issue Notification for direct recruitment for the posts of Teachers in accordance with the orders issued by the Government duly notifying the vacancies as per the requisition furnished by the Commissioner & Director ofSchool Education for the 31 Revenue districts as formed/reorganised by the State of Telangana w.e.f.11.10.2016, taking each such district as the unit of appointment as per the relevant Rules. Local Scheduled Tribe candidates shall only be considered for selection andappointment against the vacancies in Scheduled Areas as per G.O.Ms.No.3, Social Welfare (TW.Edn.II) Department, dt.10.01.2000. They shall also be considered forselection to the posts notified in Plain area if they come up for selection.

(7) AGE:
As per Telangana State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1996 as amended from time to time.

(8) PREPARATION OF SELECTION LISTS:
1. The rule of reservation to local candidates is applicable and the provisions of Telangana Public Employment (Organisation of Local Cadres and Regulation of Direct Recruitment) Order (Presidential Order) 1975 and amendments there to shallbe followed strictly.

2. The rule of special representation in the matter of appointment of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes, PhysicallyChallenged, Ex-service Men and Women is applicable as per the Telangana Stateand Subordinate Service Rules, 1996 as amended from time to time.
3. No Physically Challenged quota should be extended for the School Assistant(Physical Education) and Physical Education Teacher Posts as the said quota is not considered for admission into the Physical Education Training courses. The posts earmarked for School Assistant (Physical Education) and Physical Education Teacher should be filled with eligible meritorious candidates as per the Government Memo.No.1351/Ser.VI/2008-2, dated. 01.04.2008.
4. The number of candidates selected shall be equivalent to the number of vacancies notified. There shall be no waiting list and posts if any unfilled for any reason whatsoever shall be carried forward for future recruitment.

(9) COMMUNICATION OF SELECTION LISTS TO THE APPOINTING AUTHORITIES:
The TSPSC shall communicate the list of selected candidates prepared separately for each unit of appointment to the Appointing Authority concerned, along with the applications of the candidates, who in turn shall issue the Appointment Orders as per the relevant Rules and Posting Orders to the
selected candidates as per the choice exercised by the selected candidates in the counselling for the schools under the control of the Appointing Authority. Detailed guidelines regarding the counselling procedures etc., will be issued separately.

(10) The qualifications prescribed for Direct Recruitment of the Teachers vide G.O.Ms.No.11, School Education(Ser.II)Department, dated 23.1.2009 and G.O.Ms.No.12, School Education(Ser.II) Department, dated 23.1.2009 shall stand amended by the qualifications prescribed for the Direct Recruitment of the Teachers in these Rules(Rule-4).

(11) Notwithstanding any provisions to the contrary contained in any other rules relating to the recruitment of Teachers, the provisions of these rules shall prevail and be applicable for the purpose of recruitment of Teachers, 2017.

    1. Actually in previous DSC They Given 20% for Non Local.
      It Doesn't means Seperate 20% for non local.
      it means
      For Example: 100 seat are there so you have to get a rank in top 20 candidates.then only you will be consider.
      but time to time rules may be change.
      so wait for detail guidlines.
